Should Facebook Block Photos And Videos Of Beheadings?
Recent photos showing severed heads taken in a part of Syria controlled by the jihadist group Islamic State, have resulted a large number of complaints from people who feel the images are gruesome and should be removed or blocked.
Facebook currently bans the use of graphic content for sadistic pleasure, however distressing images that are used to highlight an important issue or condemn violence are permitted. Safety advisors are calling for new measures to be put in place to prevent people from stumbling across disturbing content but what do you think?
